Chili cook-off 2017
Every year in Marion there is a Chili cookoff held at the Elks Lodge to raise money for charity. I have been involved in creating the logo and other necessities for this event. This year they wanted a western style with a modern touch. Hit the nail on the head, dont ya think?

Told ya we were involved pretty much every year! Here we go again! Each year there is a different theme and all the contestants dress accordingly, this years theme was a take on the 70’s. This logo is hand drawn to start, then was brought into Photoshop so the lines and spacing could perfected and be colorized for printing. This was a fun one!

At it again! This years theme was carnival freak show. It. Was. Amazing. Again to start off this logo I began sketching out a few options and it morfed into sort of a Chinese dragon. Not 100% on the money, but we were digging it so we pushed through to make it work well with the theme. In the end I’d say it definitely has that carnival feel to it!

Now the logo itself may have been on the edge of carnival-ish, but this flyer made it look like it was all meant to be! It was definitely a great collaboration of all the great minds at JADC.

This was my baby. We created a website for a vape shop and that business began creating their own lines of juices. JADC had the privilege of being let loose with the names and designs, packaging, and branding. This one was a back and fourth effort between James and I. From the logo, colors, names, and packaging it was a whirlwind of ideas and random comments that turned out to be a completely cohesive and awesome line!
